Nadine and Cal Butler Aviation Scholarship

The Nadine and Cal Butler Aviation Scholarship has been established in memory of Cal Butler, founder of Bulter Aircraft in Redmond, Oregon at the KRDM airport.  Founded in 1946, Butler Aircraft contracted with the Oregon Department of Forestry for multi-engine aerial firefighting aircraft.  Cal was passionate about flying from the time he first saw an airplane, and his family and friends have honored him by establishing an endowment with COCC for the purpose of providing scholarships to COCC Aviation Program students who share that same passion.

The application deadline for 2009-2010 is December 15, 2009. The application should be submitted to John Miller, Central Oregon Community College, Aviation Program Director, 2600 NW College Way, Bend, OR 97701, before the deadline. 

Only COCC Aviation Students will be considered for the scholarship.
